COLD AND FLU REMEDY


Every now and then most part of the world get to experience winter season which I'm turn comes with a cold and flu.
While there maybe several ways to get over the cold and flu a home remedy with carrots,pineapple,ginger and garlic is also advisable.The ingredients mentioned have vitamins that help fight cold and flu.

Carrot for example are an excellent source of vitamins,nutrients and fiber,these nutrients help in fighting alot of diseases among which include a cold.
A flu can stick around for days preventing you from doing day to day chores.So to strengthen your immune system and help fight off infections,adding carrots to your juice will maintain your physical health since carrot contain vitamin C which provides an immune system boost that will help get through cold seasons.

Another ingredient needed is pineapple.This fruit is loved by most of us due to its sweet taste.Aside from the fact that people consume this fruit because of its sweetness it also contains an enzyme called bromelain that helps fights infections and kills bacteria.This enzyme is helpful in calming cough that arises due to cold.

A cold is mostly caused by rhinoviruses,but this should not worry you because anti inflammatory gingerols and shaogals in ginger root helps in relieving a sore throat and kill the virus that cause a cold.

Apart from the above there's also garlic which has been used as a treatment for preventing colds.It is often believed that eating garlic can help reduce symptoms of a cold or prevent your illness entirely.

The above ingredients can be blended together to make a juice which in a good remedy for anyone with a cold and flu.
